President-Elect of Ghana visits Nigeria

President-Elect of the Republic of Ghana Mr. Nana Akufo Addo arrived Imo State Nigeria on Sunday December 18th 2016. 


A statement signed by his press secretary Eugene Arlin said Mr. Addo will return to Ghana today 20th December 2016. He added that Mr. Addo will also pay a courtesy call on the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari at the State House in Abuja. 


He I s expected to deliver the keynote speech at the 2016 future of African Awards Ceremoney in Lagos, Nigeria.

President-Elect Nana Addo welcomed on red carpet

There have been speculations that Ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo of Nigeria has long been a strong supporter of Nana Akufo Addo since the Ghana elections of  2012 where Obasanjo was part of the African Union (AU) external observers delegation to Ghana during the elections.
